TERRORISM, THE MAIN THREAT TO THE ECONOMY OF TURKEY

Summary/Abstract: Terrorism is a phenomenon which is constantly present nowadays and constantly changing at national and international level. Currently, terrorism has become a weapon being used against countries’ economies. Tourism, one of Turkey’s main economic sector, has been targeted several times by terrorist organizations in the country.In this article, we want to highlight Turkey’s economic losses, as a result of terrorist attacks în the past two years.
