Summary/Abstract: The article presents issues of the owner’s supervision in the context of the challenges put on localgovernment. In it discussion on the notion of institutional investor was described and they determinedconditioning which a local government must fulfill, as the institutional investor. In the finalpart, the case study of the local government, functioning as the institutional investor along withthe procedure concerning the evolution of owner’s attitudes was described.
