Summary/Abstract: Globalization entails a significant change in forms of marketing in all areas of the economy.This process also included the energy sector. The liberalization of the energy market initiatedin the 90th of the twentieth century modified the approach to electric energy. It was becauseenergy started to be perceived not only as a strategy good but also as a subject of trade. It mustbe underlined that originally electricity supply agreements were two-sided and long-term. Thisresulted numerous barriers to the market access, especially for new entities. A chance to break thisisolation was the creation of a virtual platform for energy trading, which would make it possibleto create competition through price transparency.The aim of the article aims to analyze and evaluate legal solutions in the field of public lawobligations under the Energy Law Act, including the role of private legal entities.
