Summary/Abstract: The textual importance of means of expressing authorial modality in one of the key conceptsof the poet’s poetic system - the concept of “love” - is established in Sergey Esenin’s poems andtheir Polish translations. The content structure of the concept reflects the hero’s aspiration to truelove as the highest value of life.
