Summary/Abstract: Lately, studies on stereotypes witnessed significant progress in the fieldof humanities. As such, stereotypy became a key concept, situated at thecrossroad of social psychology, argumentation analysis, literary criticism,reading theory, cultural anthropology, etc. Our article takes intoconsideration an issue that still has not received a definitive conclusion,namely its ethical values. We will focus on the multiple functions of thestereotype and propose a series of pedagogical activities centered on theconcept of stereotypy.
