POEMS DEVOTED TO CONTINUITY (TODOR CHALOVSKI: 1945-2015)

Summary/Abstract: This paper focuses on the latest editions by contemporary Macedonian poet Todor Chalovski, who passed away this year. It analyzes two volumes from the Selected Works (2011/2013), as they contain literary translations and interviews with poets and other artists from Macedonia and abroad. Special attention is given to the last book of poems, Bridge over the Moment, in which Calovski creates verses in tribute to the continuity of life and the influence of poetry to the building of eternal aesthetic and human values through different generations.
