Summary/Abstract: Every research, both quantitative and qualitative, is based on different epistemological, ontological and methodological principles. Therefore an in-depth analysis of the taken research problem and making consistent research assumptions are a duty of the researcher. The purpose of this article is presenting guidelines of the interpretive paradigm. The second is portraying the possibility of exploiting it in pedagogic research.
