Summary/Abstract: The battle for the hearts and minds of people begins with over-emphasizing the media sphere at the expense of the physical/psychological sphere, and goes on to hyperproduction of interpretation. All these factors lead to disappearance of sense and meaning and boundaries between the truth and lies are being erased, thus contributing to a state of general relativization. Replacing accumulated experience and the wisdom of life with unprecedented quantities of information, most of which are half-truths and trivial information, creates an imitation of knowledge, which is in fact incomplete, or simply ignorance, and a false impression of freedom drowned in the mud of many wrong choices. Finally, hedonistic and slave-like dependence on the notion-object route ends with the projected ‘patterns of living’, which are through identification whole-heartedly ‘adopted’ by so programmed and ‘disciplined’ media-consumers.
