Summary/Abstract: The article is about folk and regional Polish on the basis of forum.mlingua.pl users’ opinions.It refers to terminology of dialectology, characteristic of forum.mlingua.pl users, positive andnegative attitude to dialect manifested by its appraisal. The authoress compares statements with thedefinitions made by researchers of dialectology. Crucial for this research are distinction betweenfolk and regional Polish and regard for local communities (e.g. Silesian, Kashubians). The users offorum.mlingua.pl are interested in regional Polish, they know linguistic terminology, draw attentionto cultural value of folk and regional Polish.
