Summary/Abstract: This paper is designed to examine the spatial dependency regarding new Information and Communication Technologies adoption versus economic growth in Latin American countries over the period 2000–2011. It examines whether geographic proximity play a role in cross-country diffusion of economic growth which is predominantly subjected to the level of ICT penetration. To this aim the spatial dependency and spatial heterogeneity are observed, and to report on the prospected relationships the spatial lag, spatial autoregressive and spatial error models are used. All statistical data are exclusively derived from International Telecommunication Union 2014 and World Development Indicators 2014 databases.
