Summary/Abstract: The report gives an overview of the main features of the functioning of the cloud environment (architectures, components and services), while an assessment of the current status for the information attacks, accomplished to/from/in the cloud environment, in Bulgaria, the Balkan Peninsula and countries of south-eastern Europe for the period 2009-2010. Along with this, an assessment of methods of prevention, protection and recovery to/from/in cloud environment, is made. A comparative analysis of cloud information attacks with respect to the components: mobile clients, thin clients, fat clients, datacenters and distributed servers, is also made.
