Bulgarian Cyber Security and Sans

Summary/Abstract: The paper is dedicated to the Bulgarian cyber security and the relations between the National Laboratory of Computer Virology in Bulgaria and the SANS (SysAdmin, Audit, Network, Security) Institute in USA. A review is made of the current definitions of the fundamental terms in this field. The changes for the last few years in the attacking instruments are commented. Then an analyze is made of the future attacking processes in the global network. A review is made of the cyber attacks against national critical information infrastructures. At the end some proactive rules, practices and strategies are recommended that are well recognized in Bulgaria.
