The Role of Authority in the Life of a Gymnasium Pupil

Summary/Abstract: An adolescence period is very important time in each man living. It’s important, that each man in this specific life time can be able to trust some stable determinants and rely on them, looking for own place in the world. From some time in pedagogical literature it’s being indicated the necessity of having an authority, which is directly connected with respect, esteem needs, confirmation of own value, domination and subordination. Authority can be for man the source of designs, values, informations about behavior standards or actions accepted in society. All these can find in the “thicket” contradictory signals, coming from outside, referring to the choice of living. Young man gets this time guideposts to be guided by making, as well an important, as trivial choices and decisions. This fact is special important for adolescent, because lets to develop own outlook of life at the base of some designs and this way help to overcome an identification crisis. It’s worth to know such persons, who are the authority for young generation. The science researches had been carried through teens years, but actually is necessity of their updating, because of social- economic changes in the country, change of family model and change of educational system.
