A ngloamerican interjections in Polish and Russian

Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the problem of borrowed Anglo-American interjections wow and yes incontemporary Polish and Russian languages. On the base of dictionary definitions analysis, authenticsituations observations and data received in conducted surveys the explication of theseinterjections’ meaning and description of eventual scenario of their using is offered. The analysisextends the conclusions of the important role which wow and yes play in the process of axiologicalremapping of targeted languages. Their proliferation into relatively closed group of Slavic primaryinterjections is of great importance, as they could serve as natural base for formation of “correct” individual and market instincts.
