Summary/Abstract: Electronic payments are more and more popular. No fears, negative examples or words of criticism are any longer able to stop the dissemination of this form of financial settlements. The aim of the study is to present the current state concerning electronic payments – payment methods and forms, their popularity, threats and directions of development.
