Summary/Abstract: Possibilities of applications of national geoportal Geoportal. gov.pl in education are presented in the paper. European Union directive INSPIRE (Infrastructure for Spatial Information in Europe) is discussed as an important law frame of national reference data infrastructure in Poland. Resources of spatial data and functionalities of national geoportal are described.
