Summary/Abstract: Individual differences (IDs), described as characteristics in respect of which people differ from each other, are a vital aspect of the process of second language acquisition (SLA). A number of researchers have invested much effort into examining their nature in order to formulate valid conclusions which could be useful for classroom practice. The paper presents a research proposal for investigating the relationship between the learning styles and learning strategies applied by students of electronics and telecommunications attending a blended learning (BL) course in English as a foreign language, as well as tapping the link between the two ID variables and students’ performance.
