Summary/Abstract: This study represents both an analysis of interjections found in the book Mary Poppins, by P. L. Travers, and an investigation on their translation from English into Romanian. In order to take on this research all occurrences of interjections were analysed in the original English text, based on a detailed consideration of their pragmatic and contextual meanings.
