Summary/Abstract: This article is devoted to public e-services. This paper discusses the evolution of the e-government concept in Poland and the world . Models of the maturity of services delivered by e-government, and were characterized as well as the progress of public e-services., The basis for this analysis were literature on this subject and other information gathered from the websites of the Ministry of Administration and Digitization and of the commune and dis-trict offices.The state of advancement of public e-services in Poland was assessed as unsatisfactory. After fourteen years of work towards the implementation of e-services only about 39% of planned services were realized and disparities between different areas of the service are large -for example in the judicial system it is 73%, while for health care 11%. This state is probably the result of a lack of a comprehensive, multidimensional and long-range approach to public e-services. Decisions were taken to implement numerous solutions, supporting particular areas of public government activity functioning in practical isolation of systems that require cooperation.
