Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses the experiences of keeping electronic records and their evaluation in the Republic of Slovenia. In terms of storage and evaluation of electronic records legal basis in the Republic of Slovenia is general and these regulations have certain disadvantages. One of the drawbacks is contained in the fact the absence of regulatory body for independent control of electronic commerce. Proposals of Slovenian archivists are going in the direction that such control should carry through the Agency, and the Office for e-commerce and the issuance of secure seals.
