Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses about experiences of the use of archival material in the Archive of the Republic of Slovenia, and it shows application of the new technologies in the process of using archival material with all successes and shortcomings. Also, the paper presents statistical data in time from 2002 to 2004 about the type and extent of used archival materials in the Archives of the Republic of Slovenia.
