Summary/Abstract: World War One had numerous consequences on the World Order. Also it held a great importance in changing the geopolitics of Middle East and so, influencing the faith of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict especially due to the power vacuum left by the dissolution of the Ottoman Empire. Following this event, great European powers entered the scene, but they had their own interests but those weren’t always the same with the ones of the local population. This was the case in Palestine, where Great Britain had numerous promises, both to Arabs and to Jews and at the end of the war, it was impossible to follow each one. And so becoming a mandatory power, Britain played an important role in increasing the tensions between the two parts. But even so, this was still possible due to the Great War and we would see exactly how this changed the course of the conflict.
