Summary/Abstract: Based on the material of Russian texts of XI-XVII centuries, the article deals withthe ways of the light conceptualization as a means of high moral categories expression; determines the special importance of the light lexemes forming the evaluative-symbolical semantics in the organic correlation to color lexemes.
