Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to analysis of symbols of money/ reach on examples of works by Jurij Andruchovych and Eugenija Kononenko. Traditionally, heroes oppose money/ reach and love, friendship, poetry creative etc. as two systems of moral values. But demonization of this symbols has ironic - not pathetic character.
