Summary/Abstract: The essay focuses on the analysis of the thought of Benedetto Croce made by Antonio Gramsci in his Quaderni del carcere. The examination focuses on some Gramscian key categories such as philosophy of praxis and historical materialism. In fact, here it is more evident the close comparison that the author of Quaderni has with the Neapolitan philosopher.
