Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the reflections concerning the most topical issues of linguistics of emotions: the correlation among the most important notions that form the metalanguage of a linguistic theory of emotions, is implied, — emotionality, evaluation, and exspressiveness. The analysis is done through the prism of semantics and pragmatics. The author’s attitude to certain methodological issues of the theory and practice of linguistics of emotions has been represented.
