Summary/Abstract: The subject of this paper is the interesting use of verb forms that express politeness in Persian. According to the specific use of these forms, the authorclassifies them to first person verbs on one hand, and second/ third person verbs on the other. Thereafter, the use of the most common verb forms of this type in communication in Persian is described and reasons for such classification are given. Finally, based on the specific use of these forms of Persian verbs, it can be concluded that there is a verb mood in Persian that has not been recognized and described in the relevant resources so far. This verb mood is named interactive because of the fact that it is mostly used in language interaction among Persian language speakers.
