Summary/Abstract: The history of Central Banks started at 1668. Nowadays independence discussions are current for central banking. Many of studies show if independence increases both credibility and trust rise up. So that Central Bank of Turkish Republic becomes radical reforms for keeping up with modern central banking. With independence arguments, transparency and accountability are other two values that rise up for modern central banking. Independence, transparency and accountability are the most important issues for Central Banks, because they are the mechanisms that execute monetary policy which becomes considerable for economic situations of countries.
