In the beginning of 20 century there lived two brothers Władysław and Antoni Krzemińscy. They had cinemas in different places in Poland and Russia, and in 1909 they settle down in Częstochowa. Here they opened cinema, which called „Odeon”, and later another – „Urania” and „Eden”. Those cinemas were not only places where brothers showed different films, but also they were special cultural centers – local viewers could saw there also various theatre performances. Brothers before the second world war made few films about different events in Częstochowa. For example they made in 1913 "Fire in the Match Fabric", which now is one of the oldest preserved polish films. Today these films are very important source of local history.
