Summary/Abstract: A quite large group among suffixal nouns are personal names (nomina personae); they aremost often derived using suffixes -ик/-ник, -ист, -щик/-чик, -ец/-овец. A lot of formants arepolyfunctional. There is a phenomenon of word-formation synonymy and homonymy in the groupof nominal formations we are interested in.
