THE ROLE OF THE FOREIGN LANGUAGE PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE DURING THE LEARNING OF PROFESSION

Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the concept and content of foreign language communicative competence of students of non-language specialties universities. The purpose of foreign language teaching in higher education is to master a foreign language as a medium of communication and the acquisition of a professional orientation of foreign language competence for successful implementation of future professional activities. Learning a foreign language of future specialists should be considered through the prism of their future professional activities. An important task of learning a foreign language in professional direction is the formation of a specialized expertise in the areas of professional and situational communication, mastering the new professional information through foreign sources.
