Summary/Abstract: Popular demonstrations which broke out in Tunisia spread to Middle East and North Africa (MENA) countries led to the subversion of the governments in Tunisia, Egypt and Libya, a civil war in Syria, foreign interruption along with civil war and reforms on a small scale in countries such as Algeria, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan. Internal balance of power as well as the interests and attitudes of international organizations have been determinant. Many states have economic and political interests in region. This region consists of countries which Turkey has strong historical and social ties with their peoples related, and maintains high profile political and economic relations. Therefore, what has been happening in the region is of great concern for Turkey. In this study, the reasons of Arab Spring, how it spread, the policies conducted by Russia, EU and USA and the impacts the unrest had on Turkey’s economic relations with the countries in the region were analyzed. It was concluded that the insurgencies in the region affected the Turkey’s economic relations with Egypt, Libya, Syria and Tunisia remarkably negatively as a result of the analysis.
