Summary/Abstract: Starting with the XXth century, the fragmentation and modification of the ethnographic pastoral landscape evolved at a high pace. The alert is that these traditional cultural landscapes created and preserved along the centuries and millenniums are disappearing and they rapidly transformed during the last years. We cannot stop the evolution of human creativity, modern technology and economic growth (profits, efficiency, globalization etc.), but we can issue certain rules concerning the protection and preservation of both natural and cultural elements.
