To develop the theme there were used some memories, diaries and correspondence of Anna and Jaroslaw Iwaszkiewicz. In addition this work contains two Iwaszkiewicz’s articles from the interwar period. In the first part Iwaszkiewicz characterized the relationship between him and Jerzy Liebert. There were also specified the circumstances how these two writers got to know each other and described the course of their relationship, indicating that the memory of Liebert was nurtured by Iwaszkiewicz, even after the death of the young poet.
