Summary/Abstract: Sustainable development is a fundamental principle of environmental policy of the state. Manufacturing companies producing in the course of the production of many pollutions work out their own environmental policy. They seek to balance the three purposes: economic, environmental and social. Pursuing these aims would not be possible without actually led natural resource management, which takes into account the protection of the air, protection of water resources and soil protection against wastes. The paper presents examples of such activities recorded in the enterprises of the dairy industry. These enterprises use of natural resources and at the same time they cause pollutions.
