Summary/Abstract: Poland has outstanding natural and landscape values compared with the rest of UE. It is a signatory to a number of international agreements in the field of nature and landscape protection, including European Landscape Convention. Many had been said and written in strategic documents about the protection of nature and cultural assets. And yet it is still observed the loss of these resources and disturbance of spatial order. The reason for increase in discussion on this topic is Law of 24 April 2015, commonly called the “Act landscape”. It should help governments to sort out, the presence of advertising in public space and let take care of spatial order and protection of the landscape. Time will show how local and regional authorities fulfill their obligations, but without the will of cooperation and understanding between the various levels of planning and management of space, further orders and prohibitions flowing from audits landscape or other regulations may not be effective.
