Summary/Abstract: National Parks are recognized as the most important form of protection of nature. In Poland there are 23 National Parks, which cover approx. 1% of the country. National Parks fulfill numerous functions e.g.: educational, tourism, recreational and scientific. The aim of the article was to evaluate the financial plans of Polish National Parks of the years 2012–2014. The analysis focused on costs, in particular on salaries. Moreover, author of the article characterized also some factors that have impact on salaries in National Parks as well as the factors that can have influence for salaries value in the future.
