Summary/Abstract: The article presents the resource determinants of open innovation process in enterprises operating on the Polish market. The article includes, in addition to a critical review of the literature, the results of empirical research conducted in 123 innovative enterprises. The results indicate a different level of involvement of each category of resources in the creation of open innovation and show the real role of external actors as providers of resources necessary to create product innovations.
