Summary/Abstract: This paper analyzes and evaluates the strategy of the company’s development called offshoring, based upon the transferring processes of production and/or services abroad of the home country. The analysis and the evaluation are conducted on the framework of the literature and also on the empirical basis – the case study of the investment company. The observation of the market globalization and as a consequence the globalization of management leads to the conclusion of the creating of the new model of running business in so called broaden organization which is based upon the delocalization of functions and processes of the company abroad. Such an aim and its fulfilling leads to the formal planed company’s strategy called offshoring. In this context the author of this paper attempts to identify motives of offshoring, barriers of its implementation and ways of overcoming them, on the basis of the literature and the case study analysis. He also presents the phases of the process of implementation of the offshoring strategy, regarding the mitigation of risk which is accompanying such implementation. He portrays different models of offshoring and different forms of organizational forms of companies referring to them too. The author also describes initial effects of the level of maturity of the implementation of such a strategy.
