Summary/Abstract: In today’s world, characterized by turbulent volatility, global competition forces to search for new ways of socio-economic development. Cooperation between organizations associated in clusters is a key element of the strategy. The benefit associated with linking is the returns to scale or bargaining power, as well as the migration of knowledge and innovation. Such companies join clusters , which through cooperation intend to achieve increased competitiveness and innovation. This article is an analysis of the needs of members of cluster INKOKOMP − innovative composite structures in the construction and road and rail infrastructure, for the decision to join the cluster and compatibility needs identified with the concept of the cluster. In order to achieve the assumptions two research methods were used: a case study and a survey of all members of the cluster INKOKOMP.
