Summary/Abstract: The article concerns the phenomenon of poverty, which is inherent to social and economic life in Poland and in the world. This article aims to analyze strategic documents, both international and domestic, which shape policy to combat poverty. In addition, an overview of the main instruments used in the fight against this phenomenon in Poland is shown.
