Methods of environmental impact assessment

Summary/Abstract: Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is one of the most important instruments of environmental policy. The main objective of the EIA is to determine the impact of planned investment projects on the environment. In various stages of the EIA a variety of methods, techniques and tools is used. The article reviews them and indicates the need to search for a tool, which allows combination of these different approaches into a single methodical system
