Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of research assessing the attitudes and behavior of women towards product innovation on the cosmetics market carried out on the Tri-City in early 2015. Analysis of the results showed that for the vast majority of the respondents products and beauty treatments are important in meeting the daily needs. The most common reasons for purchasing cosmetic products are price, their own preferences and tastes and innovation. Buying a new cosmetic product it is most often motivated by the desire to stand out in the environment, faith in a better effectiveness of a new product or service and use in its production of a new component or material. Analysis of the results showed that the most common of buying cosmetic/surgery innovative determines the price.
