Summary/Abstract: This article aims to analyze the level of consumption of bread and cereal products in households by socio-economic groups of the population in Poland in 2005 and 2013. An attempt has been taken to determine consumer preferences in the field of bread and cereal products. The analysis was based on econometric models with many explanatory variables. A decrease in consumption of bread and cereal products was noticed in all socioeconomic groups of population in 2013, compared to 2005. Basing on the research it can be concluded that there are significant differences in consumer preferences between socioeconomic groups in terms of bread and cereals in Poland in 2005 and in 2013.
