Summary/Abstract: The paper presents selected results of the study connected with marketing management in the municipalities of Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship. The study was concerned with the attitude of local government officials to marketing activities. In the first part of the paper, there has been discussed the assumptions associated with usage of marketing management concept in the context of achieving competitiveness and growth of regions. This is followed by methodological assumptions of the study, which was completed in June 2015. In the last part of the paper there has been presented the results of the study on local government representatives attitude to marketing efforts.
