Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and to present it as a tool to obtain competitive advantage in the market. The article presents the essence, dimensions and areas of CSR and the benefits of the implementation of the concept of corporate social responsibility. Supplement of the article is the description of good practices undertaken by the LOTOS Group for which Corporate Social Responsibility is an essential element of business strategy.
