Summary/Abstract: The article contains the composition of the number of complaints about the protection of pension system referring to the Insurance Ombudsman between 2008 and 2011. The article describes the problems of the pension system in Poland in the context of complaints referring to the Insurance Ombudsman. Moreover, the complaints procedure and the result of intervention in the closed cases about pension system undertaken by the Insurance Ombudsman are presented.
