Summary/Abstract: In modern conditions the activity of the hotel business is largely marked by a high degree of competition. The success of the hotel business depends largely on the effectiveness of its marketing communications. Important for the growth in demand for products and expanding and improving the market position of the hotel business are the means by which the business uses to inform consumers of supplied products, their properties and conditions for acquisition. The aim of the study is to identify the main problems of the communication activities of the hotel business and management decisions for improvement. Analyzes and conclusions on this issue are based on data from a survey of 67 hotels in Blagoevgrad region in February-May 2013.
