Summary/Abstract: The article analyses the pensions calculated in accordance with the new regulations in 2011–2015 by the Polish Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), with particular focus on average retirement age, average pension payments, and the difference related to sex. The author also looks at the issue of the recent decrease in the retirement age in Poland to 60 years for women and 65 years for men, and its impact on these factors. The article draws on the data published by ZUS.
