Summary/Abstract: Piano Interactions I (2011) and Piano Interactions II “Bells and mechanisms” (2013) are original works dedicated to several hyper-instruments which were designed with the aim of incorporating new technologies into music composition. This paper proposes a thorough description of the creative approach, and of the interactive electroacoustic processes involved. It is an undertaking that attempts to marry algorithmic composition technique with more traditional methods of making music.
